Me Sarah Deschênes completed her law degree at Université de Montréal in 2017 and was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2018. Having focused her practice on family and youth law, she joined the KB Avocats office in February 2021. Her practice allows her to represent her clients with diligence and professionalism not only before the courts, but also in negotiation sessions and settlement conferences. It is essential to her that her clients feel supported and heard during the legal process.

Me Deschênes is currently completing a certificate in victimology at Université de Montréal, enabling her to accompany and represent victims of family/domestic violence before the courts as part of a separation or youth protection process. She has worked with victims of violence both in her own practice and as a volunteer. During her studies, Me Deschênes volunteered at the YWCA Women’s Centre of Montreal.

Her experience has shaped her sensitivity to the realities faced by all family members during a separation, enabling her to deliver proactive results in the interests of her clients and their children.
